Grinding beads from CERDUR® are suitable for a variety of applications and types of mills.

    Grinding beads based on zirconium oxide, cerium stabilized,
    have, among other things, high density, fracture toughness and hardness. The high density enables higher efficiency, as production times are shortened and color strength and transparency are increased. They also reduce the abrasion of mill parts and beads.
    Grinding beads based on zirconium oxide, stabilized by yttria,
    also have a very high density and are especially suitable for use in pin mills due to their very high break resistance. With their wear resistance, they ensure a very long life-time with the lowest possible contamination of the product to be ground.
    Grinding beads made of zirconium silicate, sintered, with medium density,
    convince with their outstanding mechanical properties and low wear rate in grinding and dispersing processes. Compared to grinding media of similar density, they provide a number of economic advantages. They are ideally suited for use in medium-powered mills as well as for grinding and dispersing of low and medium viscosities.
