CERDUR® ZS

CERDUR® ZS is the further developed sintered ceramic grinding bead made of zirconium silicate. Due to its medium density, it can be used in high-performance mills with high speeds and in mills with lower motor power.

The main application for CERDUR® ZS is the grinding and dispersion of low and medium product viscosities.

The CERDUR® ZS grinding beads produced by sintering process have a number of economic advantages compared to beads with a similar density or glass beads.

CERDUR® ZS has outstanding mechanical properties such as high roundness, smooth surface and high hardness. These properties enable a significantly improved wear behavior and becomes to better final results than with conventional zirconium silicate beads or glass beads.
